• DHS-ODD recently announced that persons with cerebral palsy who do not also have mental retardation will no longer be considered as having a developmental disability and will not be the responsibility of ODD. UCP will challenge this in court under Illinois’ legal definition of DD and the very functionally based Federal DD definition.
