Services Available: The
volunteers supply persons with a referral slip (voucher) that provides
them with enough food for 3 meals a day for three days.
Geographic Area: We serve
the townships in Greene County as follows: Carrollton, Kane, Linder,
Bluffdale, and Woodville.
Population Served: All
eligible individuals/families in approved geographic area.
Eligibility Criteria: In
order to receive a box of food, one must have a referral slip from one of
the following agencies: Greene County Health Department, Illinois Valley
Economic Development Office in Courthouse, Human Resources (Public Aid)
Office, or the pastor of the church at which they worship.
Fees/Costs: The box of food
and personal hygiene products is given free of charge.
Hours: We are open every
Wednesday from 1 to 3 p.m. In emergency, Kathy Harms can be reached at
942-3157 and arrangements will be made to meet the individual’s needs.
