Services Available: This is
a monthly program for residents of Scott County. The Food Pantry
distributes food items and allotted commodities that are received from and
partially purchased through Central Illinois Foodbank, Springfield.

Residents of Scott County who are in need of food.
Eligibility Criteria:
Illinois Department of Human Services Income guidelines; a family’s income
can not exceed the DHS requirements. A family registers and then receives
food items. Annual re-registration follows the government fiscal year
(September-October). Simple process of signing up on the distribution day.
Fees/Costs: None.
Hours: Second Saturday of
each month at 10 a.m. at the American Legion Hall in Winchester. It lasts
until all items of food are distributed equally. It is only held once a
month. Food is not distributed any other time than the second Saturday of
each month.
