Services Available: Project LIFE is a planning and funding agency,
responsible for the development of coordinated systems for delivering
services to individuals over 60 years of age and informal care givers in the counties listed
below. Services funded include transportation, congregate and home
delivered meals, Home Health, Legal Assistance, Information and
Assistance, Case Management, In Home Respite, Routine Health Screenings,
and Caregiver Support Services.
Geographic Area: Cass, Christian, Greene, Jersey, Logan, Macoupin,
Mason, Menard, Montgomery, Morgan, Sangamon, and Scott Counties.
Population Served: Persons at least 60 years of age and their
informal care givers, Grandparents raising grandchildren. Persons must
be 55 years of age and over for the Senior Employment Program.
Eligibility Criteria: Age is the general criteria. There are
need-based requirements for Home Health, Home Delivered Meals, In Home
Respite, and Case Management. Senior Employment Program participants must
meet the federally established income guidelines set by the U.S.
Department of Labor.
Fees/Costs: There is no charge for service. All participants have
the opportunity to make voluntary donations.
Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
