Services Available:
Vocational counseling and guidance, assistance with job seeking skills and
job placement, vocational training to enhance employment skills, and 90
day follow up from start date of placement on the job. Home Services for
individuals 0-60 years of age. In home services to prevent individuals
from being placed in an institution versus remaining in their own home.
Geographic Area: Vocational
program: Morgan, Scott, Brown, Schuyler, Mason, Menard, Cass, Greene, and
Macoupin Counties. Home Services: Scott, Cass, Morgan, Mason, Menard,
Greene, Macoupin, Christian, Montgomery, and rural Sangamon Counties.
Population Served:
Vocational program: Individuals with most significant disabilities.
Disability must interfere with the person finding and holding employment.
Minimum age is 14 ½ years old. Home services: People between 0-60 years
old with the most significant disability who are at risk of being
institutionalized.
Eligibility Criteria:
Depends on the service or program provided.
Fees/Costs: None.
Individuals must meet financial need criteria for some services. Also,
based on the adjusted gross income from the most recent IRS 1040.
Hours: Monday through
Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
