Services Available: Skilled
services provided by nurses, certified nurse aides, physical therapy,
occupational therapy and speech therapy. Specialty services include
enterostomal/wound care, psychiatric nursing care, hospice care, medical
social worker as well as maternal/child – all provided in patient’s homes.
Geographic Area: Serve
Morgan, Scott, Greene, and Cass Counties
Population Served: Predominantly
elderly. However, the number of younger individuals receiving services is
growing.
Eligibility Criteria:
Eligibility is dependent upon the payer’s requirements, (i.e., Medicare and
Medicaid require patients to be homebound). Private insurance payers may
have other criteria. Patients must live within our service area.
Fees/Costs: Vary with types
of services as well as type of payer.
Hours: Regular business hours, 8
a.m. to 4:30 p.m. However, on call personnel are available 24 hours a day
Other: Our office is one of
two branches that make up our organization. The Springfield branch could
service persons who live east of this service. We also offer private duty
services in the home for those individuals who could benefit from personal
care or just supervision (i.e., meal preparation, laundry or running
errands).
