Services Available: Substance
Abuse treatment. Patient services include assessment, detoxification,
individual and group counseling, group therapy and education, after-care
programs and case management services. Specialized programs for the mentally
ill-substance abuser and for pregnant women and alcohol problems.
Prevention program directed
toward drug and alcohol awareness/education, parenting skills program, youth
violence prevention, development of pro-social skills in children and youth,
and the development of a drug-free work place in community businesses and
industry.
Geographic Area: Morgan,
Scott, Greene, Jersey, and Calhoun Counties. Wells Center accepts referrals
from outside listed areas.
Population Served: Adult
residential and outpatient services for eligible individuals 18 years or
older. Adolescent outpatient services only for eligible youth ages 12
through 18.
Eligibility Criteria: Wells
Center utilizes placement criteria established by the American Society for
Addiction Medicine (ASAM). Patient eligibility and level of service is
determined only after comprehensive assessments by qualified substance abuse
counselors and health specialists.
Fees/Costs: Costs are
dependent upon Level of Service provided. Wells Center accepts private
insurance and Medicaid payments.
